This blanket replaced an earlier Beam blanket. The earlier one had a kaput control unit. The new one had a different category of control unit that would seem to right the conundrum that occured with the earlier one.
The blanket is a excellent value at its price.

I have only owned this blanket a month, but it is one of my pet buys ever! (I’m hoping it doesn’t quit on me, like some have said). It is very lightweight, but warms up very well. I curve mine to “3″ to excitement up the bed before I get in and my husband can leave his at “0″ or “1″ so that he doesn’t get too warm. We live up north and this is the best blanket ever. Settings of “5″ and above are very warm – you just call for those to warm up promptly, but if I had them that high during the night, I’d be way too warm. I vastly urge this product if you get cold at night.

I’ve had this blanket for 1 winter now and am still using it during this cold, winter season. It heats up nicely and is very comfortable. I have had no tribulations at all with the feature of this beam blanket or any additional beam harvest that I have bought in the earlier cycle. I am plotting on export my grandmother one as a gift for Christmas.

This blanket was nice for one winter, at that time didn’t work at all when I plugged it in this time. Beam requires you to send it to them, mines a Ruler to the tune of $40 shipping so they can Renovate it and send it in trade. HMMM $40.00 plus the $100.00 I paid for it….will it “break again” and will I have to send it in trade AGAIN? I have three years left on the warranty!!! How loads of times will I buy this blanket in 5 years? I’m not sure whether I WANT to FIX IT, and they won’t just exchange it, nor will the store pocket it in trade.
