When I initially got this product I loved it. Unfortunately my unit failed and one of the controllers quit. I gave it 2 stars because while it worked I did like the warmth. Unfortunately, like the additional assessor wrote, the manufacturer will not flush restore my calls.
This product is made by Perfect Fit Industries. I have been mission them and emailing them for a while now. They simply refuse to communicate with me. When I call I get an answering machine. When I email I get an automated answer. The net result is a perfect blowoff.
I estimate that is one way to care for warranty expenditure down on a failure prone product.
If you buy this product you are on your own. If it fails you are out of excellent luck. If you don’t belive me try mission their help digit at 800-299-1378 and pretend you have a warranty claim. If they respond go ahead and buy it. They won’t.

Same with me. With only four months one of the controllers failed. Before that there were tribulations. The connector(s) are at the top of the mattress and are not very robust so they come disconnected frequently. This is annoying. It gets worse. The connectors get reasonably warm. Warm enough to leave a burn. My spouse untucked the mattress pad while tossing and turning and was burned enough to blister on both shoulders by the time he woke up the at that time morning. Our mattress is maybe ten or twelve inches deep, so another defect is the mattress pad is not calculated to fit anything flush that deep very well.
Five time warranty my ass. I did like it while it lasted. Kmart surpass yield me a refund so I can buy another brand.
Update: Kmart won’t yield a refund because it’s been over ninety days. So, I paid $89.99 for a mattress warming pad that worked for only four months. This brand says Prudent and Warm on the literature and on the controller knobs. Buyer beware.
3 April 2006 update:
I called Perfect Fit Diligence’s product safety digit 877-882-9478. I found it on a web search because they had a before retract. They called me right in trade and existing a replacement. It arrived in a week. I talked to a Wanda Phillips. She gave me her digit 800-299-1378 (menu option #2). She said that the power supply and the controllers have been revised. She reassured me that should I have a possibility conundrum, the five time warranty is still in effect. I find that the connectors are a bit larger also and tugged on them and they didn’t pull out. It gets surpass. The new connectors get only slightly warm to the upset. I’ve had the mattress in trade in use for two days. It is a really nice product when it facility. To a fantastic degree see how long this one lasts. I would rank it as a honest product again. The new warming mattress pad has the terms Prudent & Warm Technology printed above the controller knobs, rather than on the knob as the before warming pad did. The knobs are a powder forbidding or grey-forbidding affect.
I’d like to yield it a few extra stars again, but apparently you can’t do that when you edit the same review.

I ordered this heated mattress pad, because I live in a very ancient and drafty house. I needed something to warm the bed BEFORE I got into it. This pad was reasonably priced and I thought it was a excellent buy. But, you have to dredge up to curve the pad on before you get into bed! And at that time it takes a small while to warm up, so getting into bed is still a cool experience. The cut description did not mention that this pad turns itself off at random intervals. Maybe this fastidious pad was defective, but I can’t seem to get a replacement or a answer starting the company to find out if this is normal. All in all, the pad facility reasonably well for the cash, as long as you dredge up to curve it on a half hour before bedtime.

I bought this pad specifically to exchange an pricey, and really nice pad (that heats fantastic but shuts off at random intervals. It is held to wait 10 hours, but it seldom does).
This Time pad also has a 10-hour shutoff figure, which was not well-renowned in the online product description. I found it in the education blue-collar. I would not have bought this pad had I renowned it has an auto-shutoff figure, as I did not want that.
I am also unable to get this pad to excitement at all. The education blue-collar states that the pad will not excitement if the room temp is 72 degrees or above. My room is 74 degrees and the pad will not excitement. This also was not in the online product description. Had I renowned this I would not have bought this pad.
This pad was a perfect waste of cash for me. I don’t urge it. Unless you don’t mind the shutoff figure and have a room much cooler than 72 degrees so it might excitement up for you.

I wasn’t sure if I had a conundrum or not with this mattress pad, but it seemed like it was not working by the book. When I did some research and read these reviews on Amazon I became apprehensive. I called the company, they were nice on the buzz, they existing to send me two groundbreaking new controllers, exactly like the ones I had. During the later days before the new controllers arrived, I became convinced that in detail everything was working honest. The two new controllers arrived and I simply returned them to the company. We are still pleased with the pad, and our experience with the company was very favorable, and that is why I felt I should add this note to the others.
