I bought 2 blankets. One for me and another for a friend. My blanket does not excitement at the bottom. His blanket doesn’t excitement on one feature. The company who sends this off is DealYard. DealYard has a restore policy that lasts only 7 days. We can send in trade 2 defective items for a exchange only. Why would I entrust another 2 would work? They also do not offer to defer shipping expenditure on these defective items. So I would have to pay to ship them in trade and at that time have 2 extra shipped. That would deprivation me accurate to 60 bucks including the first shipping. No thankfulness. I’m stuck with blanket with wires running through it.

MY spouse is a ice cube and I’m not so this blanket was perfect for us.My spouse say’s it’s the best thing sense sliced bread. Very warm and so pretty with the design on the top.

The blanket heated promptly and evenly during the initially winter I used it. It felt incredible to slip under toasty sheets on a cold night. But now, with costs the summer in storage space under the bed, the blanket only barely gets warm, only on the right feature, and it takes half an hour or longer to accomplish flush that much. I’m going to try to get it replaced under warranty, but if that doesn’t work, I won’t be export a Beam blanket again.

I bought this blanket for my daughter for Christmas, 2008. At some time ago using the blanket, as well as still now, when my daughter uses it only a few small areas excitement up while the rest does not. It also has foremost pilling. Unfortunately the company it came starting – DealYard – their restore policy is 7 days within receipt of the cut. By the time Christmas came 7 days had come and dead starting the time I received the blanket. So I didn’t flush bother trying to restore it. That said, DealYard had no perception I had a conundrum with the product. So I do not know how they would have reacted if I tried to send it in trade a month over the 7 day limit due to go a Christmas gift.
I would not urge this blanket at all.

There certainly seems to be a conundrum with Beam blankets.
I bought mine (another develop) a time ago, it worked that winter, and when I pulled it out this time it was just plain Dead.
Considering I spent a hundred dollars on it, and I really loved the blanket continue winter, I was truly disappointed by this event.
I emailed consumer service three times and received three a waste of time answers.
They wanted me to e-mail my Ruler Sized, Dead blanket to Mississippi to be “Repaired”; shipping it at MY deprivation….can you say $45.00?
Now…I had a 50/50 opportunity of this blanket going in to be flat (I am only in time two of my five time warranty)only to have it happen again with it was “flat”. If I had to send it again to be “flat” to the tune of $45.00, I’d have near bought a new one. I really did not want this blanket in trade, it is obviously defective in some way, or just terrible by design…of which, I do not know. Somehow this just didn’t make sense to me and the likelihood felt very against my favor.
I truly had tried to get this blanket to work six times, as did my husband. I orginally bought it for him as we have sub-zip ride out and it’s nice when he gets off at 6 a.m. to crawl into a heated bed with he’s half frozen. So you see, this was vital to me to find a resolution to this conundrum. I flush looked at additional brands of blankets, but there are not loads of out there, it would seem Beam has a cornered this promote reasonably well, and what is out there, is three times as pricey. I…happen to reckon $100 for a blanket is exhorbitant, but with excitement…well worth it. IF it facility.
So I existing to spend ANOTHER $100 on a $200.00 Beam blanket for a NEW one. And they said they didn’t do Exchanges…apparently the extra $100 wasn’t worth lovely Me. Odd, I thought. So this time I emailed consumer service and I questioned to have my thought forwarded to a Superintendent as the Consumer Service responses were improper at best. I knowledgeable them that I had posted EIGHT terrible reviews on the internet and if they did not fancy to accomodate me in some way, that I had all week to write Terrible Reviews on their blankets. I also told them I was contacting Jarden, the mother company in this area this. One lovely Consumer Service female had the gall to caution me their harvest were brilliant…really? Because MINE ISN’T and at that time I worn-out all the reviews starting Amazon and sent them to her to prove that..no, they are NOT brilliant! Here’s your proof on 75 reviews! With that email, I looked up the President of Jarden and got his buzz digit, I was prepared to call him on Monday morning.
Judge me…in this age, reviews are vital!! If you buy something…leave a review! Flush if you aren’t export starting Amazon, leave a review here! It makes a difference!!
Now for the excellent part…

While I was shopping on Saturday, a very nice female starting Beam called me to say she was going to help me with my conundrum.
I was shopping with Thanksgiving and was standing in Best Buy at the time, and she existing to call me Tuesday.
Now is Tuesday, and she did as promised, she called.
She had all my in rank and emails, she questioned for some numbers off of my blanket, and promised to send me shipping tags to e-mail my blanket in trade to them at their deprivation!! Yay, permanently someone caring!!
AND she ordered me a new blanket!!!!
I may maybe NOT BE MORE PLEASED at this top! And I’m praying my new blanket will not have any tribulations.
But very pleased that Beam addressed my conundrum and made me pleased! Now THAT is Consumer Service!!!
So…IF you have a conundrum with YOUR blanket, contact Beam. Don’t just eat the cash you spent, your cash is as excellent as mine is, and your product SHOULD WORK. I believe that Beam did what was right by their product and as patrons we have a right to be pleased with our buys. A blanket with a five time warranty SHOULD WORK FOR FIVE YEARS right? If it doesn’t, they call for to distinction our hold with a product that will work.
Anyway…Pleased with SUNBEAM!!!
